Join us on Wednesday August 11th at 7.30 pm for our first ever Curlew Action seminar, a fundraising event to help create a curlew mural in Manchester.

Mary Colwell

We will be hearing a curlew update from our founder, Mary Colwell. Mary is an environmentalist, producer, author of Curlew Moon and the chair of the Curlew Recovery Partnership.

Merlyn Driver

The talented Merlyn Driver will be telling us about his upcoming album for the RSPB. Merlyn is a musician, writer, creative producer and nature enthusiast focusing mainly on traditional and international musics, and on the connections between music and the environment.

David Gray with Mary Colwell

Fellow singer / songwriter and Curlew Action Patron David Gray will be joining us to tell us why he is so committed to saving the curlew.

Elli Rivers

And Elli Rivers, studying for a PhD in bird conservation at Bournemouth University, will be with us to speak about her work for curlew conservation.

UK Youth for Nature logoFunds raised from this event will be used to help UK Youth for Nature create a curlew mural in the middle of Manchester! We will be hearing from the UKY4N team about the mural and their Natural Kingdom: Wild Walls project.
