We are looking for Curlew Action's official sign to encourage people not to disturb wintering waders.
The UK's coastline plays host to 150,000 Curlew from across Europe during the winter months. Protecting them from disturbance is vital to allow them to survive the harsh winter months. Read more in our recent blog post.
How to enter the competition
- Design a sign that encourages people to avoid disturbing wintering waders - download the PDF guide, including information and graphics.
- E-mail a high-resolution image or PDF of your completed sign to flo@curlewaction.org by midnight on 25th November 2024.
We will choose a winning design and reveal the winner on 29th November 2024.
The winning design will become available on our website for people to download and display in their communities!
Our ground-nesting birds signs
This competition follows on from our previous competition to design signs to raise awareness of ground-nesting birds.
Both signs are available to download in both English and Welsh, you can order laminated versions from Curlew Action, and you can buy A3 corrugated plastic signs (one design only) via our shop (sold at cost price).
